I can hardly believe it myself. Is that some kind of record?

LOL!
What a nailbiter! That is, if you're biting really really fast.

Guess it made too many other projects look bad. =P

Harrison has just informed me that we're just a few hours shy of the fastest greenlight of all time - that honor still belongs to SUPERHOT, which was greenlit in almost exactly 5 days.

Well, having beaten 99.9% of all greenlit games on Steam will just have to do. =P

So, what, we're second? I'd still take it. :P

Are we actually second, or are there other greenlights in that small margin between Frontiers and SuperHot?

Yeah, but...
SUPERHOT got greenlit after it was featured in a video by exposure powerhouse Nerdcubed (more than 1.6 million subscribers on Youtube; he also helped Race the Sun and Papers, Please get greenlit). Not saying these games didn't deserve it, I voted for all of them as well, but... :D
The fact that FRONTIERS almost beat the record without such extreme backup and with Greenlight already being on its way out is... insane? I can't find any other appropriate way to put it. So, congratulations once more!

Just goes to show high poly count graphics and tons of murder *aren't necessarily* the only recipe for success on Steam. Just typing that made we want to play some CS 1.6.

That... That was fast. Congrats, Lars! I honestly expected this to hang around in Greenlight for, i don't know, a couple months or so but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

I couldn't find any charts, but there must be one that exists out there somewhere because there's a lot of websites who were just going nuts over Superhot doing it in 5 days. The Superhot guys said they "confirmed it" so there's gotta be data out there somewhere.

The previous record was ~7 days (at the time of the Superhot articles). I wouldn't be surprised if we're second.

It is damn cool that we did it without some huge media blowout. From what I've seen outside of this forum, Frontiers is pretty quiet advertising-wise (Lars knows the real numbers, I'm just speculating). Steam forums are already pretty active, this is really exciting.
I drink the sweat and tears of fan speculation.

Considering greenlights are semi-random (there are not any stated qualifications a game must meet to be greenlit) one would have to compare charts and numbers in order to see which game did better. It would certainly be interesting.
