Just finished XCOM: Bureau yesterday.
Then I uninstalled it. I mean I don't regret buying it but it's not the kind of game you play twice.

Been playing through the games I got in the Origin Humble Bundle.. today I put a couple of hours into Mirror's Edge.. I did have this game when it first came out but my computer couldn't really handle it back then and there was one spot where it just kept crashing over and over. Now I can play it with all the settings as high as it goes and the framerate is still nice and smooth etc.

Also been playing quite a lot of The Sims 3.. it's a game you can keep going back to even if you can only stomach small sessions.. I personally find it to be a great weekend game when you just want to unwind.

I'd recommend Darwinia or Eufloria for that. =)

I've been playing on it for about a week now, I'm still not bored, such a good game now it's found its own identity!!

I'll be getting GTA-V as soon as it comes out, so don't expect to see me till frontiers comes out :D

FTL: This game is crack.

Haha tell me about it! I'm still trying to unlock the crystal ship!

Also playing Sir, You Are Being Hunted; Papers Please; and when I get back to the UK, I'll have a look at the new Amnesia game.

Played three times through the first area of Betrayer. It's currently on early access, I'm very excited for it to be finished, and for the whole game to be playable. It's awesome :D

Up until yesterday... Divinity II and Skyrim and Dragon Age II... games I should have finished but never got around to it.

Now of course... there's GTA V :)

I just bought Democracy 3. Very interesting and unique game, definitely meets my requirements of being intellectually challenging.

Also not usually into multiplier games, but I've been getting into Counter Strike: Source. If anyone wants to play with me let me know.

Everquest.
Again.
Again.
Again.

Again.

I guess I won't get rid of that particular demon until they shut down the servers for good. =P

I am addicted to Banished now so there goes my last attempt at finishing Skyrim Legendary. It is a harsh can you survive the winter village builder game. Even getting to 100 pop. can be a challenge depending on the map, your villagers can freeze, starve, suffer fire/tornadoes/disease/infestations, have a mining accident, or just die of old age before they can have a chance to procreate. Play it as sustainable hunter/gatherers or farmers/miners supporting a huge downtown.

Everquest 1.
It's not the game you may remember from '99. There have been 20 expansions by now.

Just giving you a hard time. My favorite game is from the same era. It's hard to imagine the game feeling much different without an engine overhaul, though. I'll have to watch some let's plays and see how it's progressed.

There are a million and one UI improvements but the main change to make it "easier" are the NPC mercenaries.
Relatively capable pets that tank, heal or do damage for your party.

My last break was 4 years so I have a lot to learn again.
Right now the "Anniversary" weeks are starting and I already have Fabled JBoots for my level 20 toy cleric. =P
The anniversary quests include some really useful items, too. Not for wearing but how about a Plane of Kowledge Gate clicky. 1x in 20 hours, no other strings attached. Useful if you don't have a lot of means to gate.
(Like my warrior can only gate to about 6 different places. Clearly that's not enough!)

I'm surprised they continue to support the original with so much new stuff coming down the pipe. Not that there's anything wrong with that - it's the way it should be! But if it were another company they'd probably shut it down to funnel their existing player base into the new versions.

Come to think of it, wasn't there an Everquest 2...? Yup just checked Wikipedia and it says there was one. Do they intend to support EQ, EQII and EQ Next in parallel?

I knew there was an EQ 2 but what I overheard of it all said that it was a kiddie version of EQ1. Basically EQ wow-ified.

EQ Next... I know that it exists (or will exist?) but know nothing about it. Sounds like yet-another-modern-MMO. Like any of a dozen competing products. I wish them luck.

Forget Rust .... Forget DayZ ....

Play 7 Days To Die! AWESOME game! If Frontiers comes anywhere close to this then I will be on a win / win situation when Frontiers is released!

Also play on our own server so we don't get the 'weirdos' and 'dicks' that Rust and DayZ are famous for.

7 Days To Die ... check it out on YouTube and play it on Steam :)

(This is in no way a paid advertisement for the game and no royalties have been paid for the posting of this msg ... I just love the game!!!)

I've been hanging out over at Storium - and it's great, and great fun!

They have a link to their (funded) Kickstarter page on their homepage, and my post about it in the Frontiersforums is @ http://frontiers.prophpbb.com/topic9-70.html (near the bottom of the page.) :redlace:

7 Days To Die.

I have modded the hell out of my server. =)

Yesterday I added large drawbridges which are absolutely positively not in the game. You're supposed to make do with puny doors. Inconceiveable!
